カールは、2016年4月28日〜30日 イギリスバーミンガムで開催される『BEAST FEaST 2016 フェスティバル』で、特別なBEASTシステム用に作曲した最新作『珍獣屋』を発表します。BEAST diffusion システムは、個々に増幅されたマルチチャンネル・ラウドスピーカーを用いて、特定のポジションや機能に相応しい特性を生み出し、ツイーター列（聴衆の頭上に吊るされる高音用スピーカーユニット）、サブウーファー（低音再生用スピーカー）、異種メーカーのフルレンジ・スピーカー（全音声帯域カバースピーカー）群から構成されます。パフォーマーは特注品のディフージョン・デスクやコンピューターを通して、多種多様なサウンドイメージを創り、作曲家の意図を解釈／認識出来る専用のパフォーマンス環境で、空間的且つダイナミックでドラマティックな音楽的影響を構築します。フェスティバルへはイギリスのみならず遠方からも観客が詰めかけ、世界各国から30組以上のアーティストが参加、会期中7つのコンサートと3つのトークセッションが催されます。
