\nGreetings! I hope this finds you well. <\/span><\/span><\/b> This month our Noozletter breaks yet another record. Dammit, I knew those 78rpm shellac recordings were too damn delicate to frisbee. No, not that kind of record – THIS kind of record.: We’re publishing on time twice in the past six months. We sure must have a lot of time on our hands.<\/span><\/p>\n

Actually to the contrary, things have been quite busy in our Tokyo headquarters. Not only have we been hard at work planning for our upcoming spring concerts (with details below) but also working on a commission for a new multi-channel work for the BEAST system in Birmingham UK (April), concerts in France (June) and the launch of a new project with Germany based artist\/composer Miki Yui (“Realistic Monk”) that is planning to tour in Europe this September. More information on these things in the newsletters to come, and of course you can also stay up to date by keeping your eye on our newly refreshed and refurbished website, http:\/\/www.sukothai.com or our Facebook page. He’ll talk about his early roots studying with Morton Subotnick and James Tenney, give a rundown of more recent activities, discuss musical life living in Tokyo, and present some recent works from his \u201cAcid Minsoku\u201d series.
